Power of Positive Thinking

Have you ever wondered what differentiates the extraordinary from ordinary?

Whenever you are presented a challenge, do you focus on what you lack instead of your unique talents and gifts ?

If you are curious to explore, read further

Power of Choice

I would like to quote the famous adage, “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to it”

Had we pondered on the depth of this quote and consciously apply for challenging situations, we would be living in a paradise!!!

But in reality it’s a mirage for many…

What we tend to focus has the power to grow. “Its not the grass on the other side that is greener rather the side you choose to water is greener

Legendary author Stephen R Covey succinctly narrates this in his concept Circle of Influence Vs Circle of Concern

Those who are inclined to focus on their unique talents, gifts, happiness (even if its miniscule) tend to grow it to the extent their circle of concern becomes insignificant

Am sure, anybody from Janitor to super successful entrepreneur has areas of improvement/circle of concern when they do a Self SWOT analysis. But the extraordinary mind never gives up until they convert the weakness to strengths

The universal truth is, both are equally bestowed with a power of choice and success embrace those who wisely use it

At any stage, when life throws a challenge, have the curiosity to ask, “why this scene is in my movie?” and remember the fact you are The Director bestowed with the power to compile all such scenes into a blockbuster movie

Convert Problems to Project

“A problem remains as a problem, as long as we choose to view it from an emotional plane”

Oftentimes we realize that the greatest opportunity, life lessons are dressed overall as problems

The basic tendency of a human being while encountering a problem is to adopt “Flight, Fright, Fight”

Untrained Mind adopts any of the above three option in an endeavor to protect self and thinks no further.

Incident/Event + Emotion = Problem

The moment we remove the emotion from above equation, it becomes a mere event. It requires Paradigm shift in thinking to see through the pain and witness the ultimate lesson

Instead, if we consider this event as a Project, sense of curiosity and collaboration prevails to explore and learn by summoning collective gifts and talents

The extraordinary folks constantly trains their mind to unravel the blessing in disguise

Abundance mindset

Coming to the most important segment, the magical ingredient for success – Abundance Mindset

When we think of the extraordinary minds, we are reminded of their positivity, charisma, determination, confidence and the list goes on and on…

But what happens beyond that is even more interesting

Am sure we might have come across people saying that they feel, think and speak positive. Despite that, their life hasn’t advanced further. Sounds familiar??!!

The extraordinary minds not just think and exuberate positivity but they move on to the emotional zone of “Having it all – simply put, Abundance mindset” which a common man can achieve only upon acquiring what they desire. But the extraordinary mind sow the seeds of manifestation in the emotional plane before it occurs in the material plane

Very few have mastered this art of having positive thoughts/goals, moves into abundance mindset that leads to compelling action to manifest their dreams to reality

What really happens here?

Thoughts + Emotion + Compelling action = Manifestation of dreams in reality

Thoughts = conscious mind

Emotion = Subconscious mind

Alignment of Conscious and Subconscious mind is the magical key to open the treasure in the Superconscious/Unconscious mind

Would like to conclude the article by summarizing, “The world belongs to those who exercise the power of choice even in the gravest situation, to convert problems to project by tapping the infinite intelligence residing in the superconscious/unconscious mind
